School visits so far

Princess Rosa has visited classrooms across South London and Surrey, from Reception to Year 4.

  • A primary school in Herne Hill: Reception and Year 1, reading and Q&A

  • A primary school in Caterham: four classes, reading and Q&A

A junior school in Surrey: Years 3 and 4, a "How a Picture Book Is Made" session for 60 children

Younger children enjoy a reading and a chance to meet Princess Rosa. Older children see how a real book is made, from the first draft and the editor's notes to the illustrator's pencil sketches and the finished page.

Sessions run 45 minutes to an hour. Families can buy signed copies at a discounted price.
